Made from the first harvest of mugwort from my own garden this year. Mugwort is a dream herb, and it can induce mildly hallucinatory dreams. I like it for prophetic and lucid dreaming. I added homegrown rose petals for their soft watery quality and infused both in brandy sweetened with honey. Mugwort is also an excellent herb for menstrual aches and pains, can induce bleeding for sluggish periods, and as an analgesic, can reduce muscle pain and tension. Don’t use this if you’re pregnant; it does have abortifacient qualities and can cause miscarriage. Your perfect dose will take a little experimentation but I suggest starting with 1 dropper and working your way up to get to your preferred level. You can use mugwort daily for 2 weeks with one week off in-between. *Note - tinctures sometimes take several days to produce effect so if you take it once and don’t notice much, try a regiment of taking it three nights in a row.
