Kali Handmade Beeswax Candles
Kali Handmade Beeswax Candles
Kali Ma, the Black Mother, cosmic mother of karma, the dark void where all is created, destroyer of illusions.
When I decided I wanted to make a series of candles for goddesses associated with death and destruction, I knew Kali would show up. For me, no other goddess embodies and inhabits the triumvirate of creation, survival, and destruction as Kali does and this candle is my offering to her primal ferocity and her transcendent awakening.
Kali for me represents rebirth and growth after destruction, a process that can be painful, but when faced head on, leads to healthy boundaries and wisdom. Kali also appears when existing systems no longer serve or become corrupt, where she dismantles and destroys them so that new ideologies and relationships can rise from the ashes. She’s a goddess of righteous indignation and while her destruction is absolute, she clears the slate so we can rebuild ourselves and our world.
Prairie Fire's Kali Handmade Beeswax Candles are made of raw beeswax, hemp wicks, plant based dyes, and flowers, resins, herbs, and other natural botanicals. My Kali herb blend includes hibiscus, calendula, dragon's blood resin, sandalwood, datura flowers, scorpion weed, jasmine buds, and homegrown patchouli and datura flower.
Do not leave candle burning unattended. Wicks must be trimmed to 1/4 inch to prevent uneven burning. Place candles on heatproof surface when burning.
This purchase is for one pair of Kali Handmade Beeswax Ritual Candles.
