Spicy from clove, allspice, and cinnamon; bright and fresh tropical notes from oranges and limes, and rich and masculine from the spiced rum, and patchouli. I veered from traditional recipes and added a little homemade vanilla extract to soften it and I think it makes for a very lush scent. The pimenta racemosa essential oil is the very last thing I added, and it is the single ingredient that pulled all the other ingredients together. Very pleased with the results of this fun perfume experiment.
