Ritual cleansing, whether a luxurious bath, a washing of hands and feet, or a quick shower, is in my opinion one of the most important aspects of creating ritual. Going before my deities clean and washed clear of impurities is a matter of respect and honor. I wanted to create something that makes ritual cleansing feel special and purposeful, with botanicals that align with Hekate. I chose olive oil, castor oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil to create a rich nourishing bar of soap, and scented it with cedar, peppermint, and rosemary. To keep everything natural and plant based, I colored it with charcoal and unprocessed indigo powder. Keep it dry after use to keep it hard for a longer lasting bar.
